The Swing Arm Chair was designed to be used by people who will live the refugee centre.

The goal of the workshop, which lasted a week in the Faculty of Design Politecnico of Milan was to think of a method to reuse the waste of the fabrics produced by the Belgian company Awareness. Under the direction of teachers it was develop a whole project, with a lot of production scale: 1:1 in the nal model. The bond was to rethink new objects without wasting any others pieces of carpet waste.

At the end the seat could be rolled up and worn as a backpack when it’s time to move.The workshop was directly connected to the center for political refugees.
